The pentomino, also known as the “5-omino” involves geometry, topology, operations research, graph theory and other fields within the mathematic world. Through arrangements of two-dimensional graphics, student’s two-dimensional spacial perspectives can be enhanced, allowing them to use methods such as shifting, turning and flipping when solving a problem.
